Diana L. Eck was a Professor of Comparative Religion and Indian Studies at Harvard University, as well as the Director of The Pluralism Project. She notably received the National Humanities Award from President Clinton and the National Endowment for the Humanities (1998) and delivered the Gifford Lectures at the University of Edinburgh, a series of six lectures titled “The Age of Pluralism” (2009).
This conference aims to explore questions of religion, spirituality, and culture from a Black perspective, and nurture interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborative scholarship. This year’s conference focused on storytelling as a vehicle for racial collective healing and restorative justice.
HDS students, faculty, and staff will celebrate Earth Month by responding to the urgency of the climate crisis. This week, HDS members will have the opportunity to connections, activate their passion around environmental justice, and understand the critical role that religion, spirituality, and the Divinity School play in the conversation around climate.
